MEM-TEK laboratories has been placed in Maslak campus of Istanbul Technical University. Total area of the center is 780 m2. Laboratories of the center are consisting of 4 main parts;

Membrane Production and Development Laboratory
There are 3 different laboratory for membrane fabrication and development in MEM-TEK. In first laboratory, pilot and lab scale flat sheet membrane production can be carry out. In the second laboratory, pilot scale hollow fiber membrane production can be carry out. Moreover, there is a thin film composite coating machine for manufacturing of nanofiltration and reverse osmosis membranes in the first laboratory. In third laboratory, both lab and pilot scale electrospinning machines exist. In this laboratory is studied on membrane fabrication via nanofibers

Process Development Laboratory
Performance tests carry out on produced membranes and modules in this laboratory. Working on innovative processes and providing improvement activities for existing processes.
